I want adventure in the great wide somewhere. I want it more than I can tell. And for once, it might be grand, to have someone understand. I want so much more than they’ve got planned.
We barely scraped by, but I knew where I fit in, I knew what my place was in the tightly interwoven fabric that was our life. I wish I could go back to it because, in retrospect, it seems so secure compared to now, when I am so rich and famous and so hated by the authorities in the capitol.
Someone tried to strangle me and I survived. I don’t need to hide that.
MYTHOLOGY MEME | (6/8) LEGENDARY CREATURES
THE MOIRAI —often known in English as the Fates— were the white-robed incarnations of destiny. Their number became fixed at three: Clotho (spinner), Lachesis (allotter) and Atropos (unturnable). They controlled the metaphorical thread of life of every mortal from birth to death. They were independent, at the helm of necessity, directed fate, and watched that the fate assigned to every being by eternal laws might take its course without obstruction. (x)
